More Great Music
David Nevue & Paul Gentry after a Whisperings piano concert in Seattle
Here are some links to friends of mine who also happen to be gifted instrumental musicians. Please visit their sites, and let their music touch you:
John Morgan – One of my closest friends. My favorite of his songs: “The Journey”. Find it here.
Stephen Bashaw – Another very close friend and a wonderful musician. He’s got two solo piano albums available.
David Nevue – Gifted solo pianist (and author of the popular book “How to Promote Your Music Successfully on the Internet”). Check out my favorite song of his:”Racing the Northern Lights”…gorgeous! Find it here
Jeff Bjorck – Terrific solo pianist, as well as a clinical psychologist, researcher, and professor at Fuller Seminary’s Graduate School of Psychology. And a good guy. My favorite song of his so far: “Living Waters”. Free download here
Rebecca Kragnes – She’s a very talented pianist. You need to hear the title song from her album, “Golden”. It really blew me away. Free download here
Azimuth Piano – A couple of friends and musical collaborators of mine (Paul Gentry & Rhesa Siregar) have released an album of the tunes that they wrote together. It’s all piano music, beautifully played by Ed Goldfarb. Most definitely worth a listen.
And some gifted singer-songwriter friends as well:
Fred Haring – A deeply incisive writer and a very good friend. His third album leads off with “Carousel”, a collaboration we wrote together in about 2000. My favorite songs of his: Where to Begin, A Prayer for Evan Dando, The Morning Sun/set. Free download here.
Alison Kitchen – Another friend and a superbly-gifted writer. Her lyrics will draw you in, and her music will clinch the deal. Her song “Beloved Planet” is truly one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. It’s available for free download here!
